As a little girl, I dreamed of having my very own horse. Each day when I walked home from school, I wished there would be a horse waiting for me – in the garage! po
Well, my family lived in the city – so that never happened. But my love of horses never stopped. I started riding lessons at 12 and as an adult, I owned and showed several horses. I was fortunate enough to experience the joy of visiting the winners’ circle on many occasions and even pinning in the ribbons at the Morgan Horse Grand Nationals.
I’ve always said that everything that’s happened to me has prepared me for the next thing that’s come along. After spending nearly 20 years in PR and event planning for nonprofits, I reached a crossroads. I wondered how I could combine my skills – and everything I loved – into something that I would love to wake up and do each day.
After soul searching and an exhaustive search for just the right pony, I found Amos on Craigslist and launched Palm Beach Pony Company. I happily served south Florida for two years and now have returned to my hometown in St. Petersburg to continue bringing smiles with Amos the Wonder Horse.
Amos is an amazing little horse. After having Amos for two months, he was laying down on command (see picture). I knew then he was special and set out to teach him to play basketball. Three 15 minute sessions later, and he was shooting like a pro. Learn more about him on the “About Amos” page.
Please feel free to contact me with any questions you have about Amos. I look forward to working with you to help plan your special event or arrange a therapy visit to your facility.
See you soon!
